'Get Hooked on Fishing' to host the educational zone at the TCF show - April 1st 2008

An all-new Midlands angling show is offering free fishing tuition for youngsters along with an incredible £50,000 worth of tackle giveaways.

International fishing magazine publisher, DHP Ltd, is the organiser behind the first ever TCF (Total Coarse Fishing) Showcase, a three-day family angling show that will star world champions of the sport along with TVıs top angling stars.

The show, which will run at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire from 25 to 27 April, will feature demonstrations and forums from the likes of angling TV celebrities John Bailey, Bob James and John Wilson. (Pictured Below)

DHP has teamed up with the Professional Anglers' Association (PAA) and national charity, Get Hooked on Fishing, to offer free, hands-on fishing tuition to youngsters. There's also plenty of entertainment for children with free admission for the under 16s. Hundreds of lucky show goers will get the chance to either win, or be given a share of the amazing £50,000 worth of tackle products, which will include seatboxes, poles and a lifetime's supply of Ultima line.

All the top fishing brands will be there so visitors can see, touch and try next seasonıs products before they are launched through local tackle dealers. Exclusive pole alleys will provide the setting for a truly hands-on experience and there will be a giant walk-in outdoor bivvy display area.

Visitors will also get the chance to meet editors of DHP's national angling magazines, including Total Coarse Fishing, Match Fishing, Total Carp, Advanced Carp Fishing and Advanced Pole Fishing. Chairman of DHP, David Hall, said that the TCF Showcase is aimed at the whole family.

"Youngsters are our angling future and it's so important to encourage them early. Also, the angling public has grown tired of going to costly fishing shows that have become no more than glorified car boot sales. Our event is all about seeing tomorrow's tackle products today and having a really good value, fun day out," he added.

Admission to TCF Showcase is free for under 16s when accompanied by an adult and even full priced tickets are just £8 in advance, or £10 on the day. Car parking is free too!

The ticket hotline number is 0844 557 3606 with further information available at www.totalcoarsefishingshow.co.uk
