Get Hooked on Fishing North East.

Get Hooked on Fishing was founded here in 1999 as a Durham Constabulary Youth Project. Volunteers and peer-led coaches (some of whom have been on the project since its launch in 2000) support Chris on site. It is this group of people who form Get Hooked North East, a Social Enterprise Company whose profits are re-circulated to assist with the development of Young People.

There are 6 qualified coaches on site who can assist with every angling need. There is an onsite tackle shop were customers can buy the tackle individually tailored for them and their pocket.

The 38 acre facility owned by Get Hooked N.E boasts 3 of the most picturesque lakes in the North East. The site is open to the general public and offers season/day tickets at very reasonable prices. The fishery centres on a 3 storey modern building that offers toilets/showers, classroom and a 100-seat conference room. Food is available from 8.00 am until 4.30pm from the café.
